Positions are open to current graduate and undergraduate students in the following preferred fields of study: political science, international relations, Middle East studies, history, religion, communications, media studies, and journalism. Interns provide administrative and research support for the Embassy, where they will assist the Jordan Information Bureau (JIB) in preparing daily media and research briefs as well as social media posts. Research is an integral part of the JIB operation; interns will gather information available via news sources, government sites, think tanks reports, and other relevant institutions. Intern Responsibilities: Drafting and editing daily media briefs on topics ranging from regional issues in the Middle East to US foreign policy, in coordination with the communications and research officers at the Jordan Information Bureau (JIB).
